My latest collection of original acrylic peony paintings will be available soon! These 'minis' measure 6x8 and some are 8x10 inches and will be available this gift giving season. I am making custom hand crafted wood frames for some of the paintings, so stay tuned for their release date in November. :-) In the meantime, check out my available work below, which includes originals and hand embellished prints.

'To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow' I love this quote by Audrey Hepburn. It inspires my work in the garden as well as capturing the light and essence of the flowers I love to grow. I am excited to announce my latest collection of floral acrylic paintings, all inspired by the things I grow in this sacred outdoor space.

I wanted the capture the soft fluttery petals and subtle shifts in light in this original peony painting called 'Duchesse'. This piece measures 18x24 inches painted on canvas and comes with a maple frame. Prints will be available soon.

I am offering a selection of hand embellished prints! Each print is made with archival ink and hand embellished by me in shimmering brush strokes. Each one is unique and comes with a pretty gold frame. Perfect for gift giving!

A little about me
I'm an artist from Minnesota where the winters are long and summers are short and sweet. But we make the most of it by scattering seeds each spring in the garden. By July we've got a lush and colorful garden filled with zinnias, coneflower, Black Eyed Susan's, and a variety of veggies too. In the garden, my kids learn the wonder of growing something spectacular from one tiny seed, and how it benefits the birds and bugs (and people too).
