Autumn Watercolor Florals
Oct 09, 2024Hello Watercolor Artists!
I've put together a tutorial on how I painted these Autumn florals. When I filmed the painting process, I wasn't intending to make a full class or tutorial, so I only have bits and pieces of the painting process captured. However, several artists reached out to me and requested a tutorial, so I put this together and thought it might be helpful.
Here are the supplies I used:
- Filbert brushes (all synthetic and various brands in different sizes)
- a round number 8 or 10 for some of the leaves and stems.
- Arches 140lb cold press watercolor paper
- a mix of watercolor and goauche
- colors used alizarin crimson, yellow ochre, burnt sienna, ultramarine blue (also possibly touches of cadmium red or a similar bold red toned down with yellow ochre or burnt sienna.)
